On Monday (March 17), Will Smith announced the dates and details of his first-ever headlining tour. The Philadelphia rapper will embark on an extensive 26-date international tour in the summer of 2025 to promote his upcoming album, Based on a True Story. “I’M GOING ON TOUR THIS SUMMER!!” Smith excitedly captioned his post. “We’re hitting up UK & Europe to bring U all the hits, some new joints, and a few surprises 😉 All these years, I’ve NEVER done a headline tour and I can’t wait to see you guys!! Tag a friend, tag all ur friends, tag ya auntie and em, bring errbody! We’re gonna have some fun :-)” The tour kicks off on June 25 at the Mawazine music festival in Morocco, and concludes on September 2 in Paris, featuring stops in Hamburg, Monte Carlo, Manchester, and London. Pre-sale begins on Wednesday (March 19), with general on-sale starting on March 21. Based on a True Story is out March 28, and will be Smith’s first full-length album in nearly 20 years.
