The event will feature a 3-mile and 1-mile noncompetitive course and family-friendly activities. Dogs are welcome. Two Tennesseans, 4-year-old Saylor Schalk, and Angie Rixham, a local fitness director, will be honored at the Walk. The event will also feature a performance by 2015 “American Idol” contestant Riley Bria, who has arthritis, and an appearance by Miss Tennessee 2015 Hannah Robinson, who has five family members with arthritis.
This annual event will help spread awareness and raise money to help find a cure for the No. 1 cause of disability in America. Whether you are close to the disease or simply looking for an inspiring charity event, Walk To Cure Arthritis is a great way to experience the power of standing together and giving back to the community.
