Hotel Preston Soul Train-inspired 70’s throwback party

soul-trainHotel Preston is getting funky with a Soul Train-inspired 70’s throwback party on Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016. Revelers will drink and dance the night away – and enjoy a fashion show by designer Baron Siamanto Levon. Festivities take place December 3, 2016 from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. in Hotel Preston’s ballroom with DJ Tony “Majic” Jackson spinning records that highlight the rise of disco and other genres emblematic of the 1970’s like funk, soul, dance, pop and rock. Guests are encouraged to dress up and bring their dancing shoes as Hotel Preston will be handing out prizes to the best dressed couple, best dressed individual guy and gal and best dancers. Throughout the evening, dancers can sip on signature 70’s-inspired cocktails as they boogie down.

Individual tickets are priced $25 in advance or $45 at the door include a complimentary welcome beverage and appetizers with libations available for purchase at cash bars within the event. Revelers also have the option to book VIP table service during the party. Priced at $400 for a party of four people with one bottle of premium liquor and one bottle of champagne, or $800 for a party of eight people with two bottles of premium liquor and one bottle of champagne, table service includes reserved seating, event admission and mixers. Gratuity is not included in VIP table price.
