The Vanderbilt Memory & Alzheimer’s Center and The Meharry Vanderbilt Alliance (MVA) will host an open dialogue between faith, academic and research leaders on the challenges and possibilities for addressing the inequities of Alzheimer’s disease risks, diagnosis, care, and prevention as it relates to disparities in the African American community. Our gathering is based in the future we wish to jointly create; where the chronic illnesses that increase the conditions for memory loss are better understood, treated, prevented, or eradicated for a world without Alzheimer’s.
