CELEBRATE BLACK HISTORY MONTH WITH THE NASHVILLE BLACK MARKET

[Nashville, TN] – The Nashville Black Market is proud to present its annual Black History Month event at the Wedge Building on February 5th and 6th.

The free event will showcase more than 60 local black vendors and is open to the public from 12-6pm, the first weekend of February. Beauty products, apparel, artisanal goods and services are a few items you can expect to encounter at the two-day event in addition to food trucks, raffles and a DJ.

This is the NBM’s first event in 2022, following a successful last year with three large-scaled markets that grossed more than $150K and a residency, at the Nashville Farmers Market which resumes March 4th, 2022.

“When was the last time you’ve been to a family reunion, meets block party, meets outdoor mall? Our family-friendly atmosphere gives people the chance to network, eat, dance, and shop their values.”  – Carlos Partee, Co-Founder of the Nashville Black Market

The Nashville Black Market, an organization dedicated to creating a space for Black owned businesses in this city to translate their products and services to the masses. Nashville is currently home to 53,000 businesses and expanding at a rapid pace and too often Black entrepreneurs don’t have equitable opportunities at a stake in the city’s expansion. In 2022, our mission is to create more opportunities for black businesses and entrepreneurs in the community. The goal is to create our own tangible marketplace where culture and commerce connect providing them with services and opportunities for Black-owned businesses to elevate their businesses. The Nashville Black Market has expanded from its first installment in 2018 attracting more than thousands of attendees and still growing.
