He was a leader for Asian rappers and formed the hip hop crew 2 Live Crew with DJ Mr. Mixx and Amazing Vee before hooking up with Luther Campbell. Former member Luther Campbell, Uncle Luke, took to social media yesterday tweeting, “My condolence goes out to the family of Chris Wong Won Fresh Kid Ice of the 2 Live Crew who just passed away people we lost a legend.” The group had many hits like Banned in the U.S.A  which made a setting statement, 2 Black 2 Strong 2 Live Crew.

He was 53.
