Christmas – you need the patience of a saint for most of it, right? Kids running about the place and forcing you to do this, that and the other – when all you really want to do is just sit down in front of Corrie with a nice G&T and some salt and vinegar Pringles.
Well, major props to Elton John this Christmas, who despite being in an ACTUAL WHEELCHAIR, put us all to shame and took his kids to none-other than Disneyland for the day.
And if that isn’t Dad Goals 2K15 we’re not sure what is.
The original Rocket Man was pictured making his way through the theme park with sons Zachary and Elijah, alongside husband David and a few members of staff.
But what gives, Elton? What’s with the chair? ARE YOU OK OR ARE YOU JUST A BIT TIRED? (Come on, we’ve all done it).
The internet was having apoplexy earlier when the pictures hit, with everyone wondering what the heck was going on – but fear not! All is (largely well) with the singer, except that he’s not Still Standing (for the time being, anyway).
After being spotted doing a spot of shopping unaided yesterday, it appears that Elton’s gone and knocked his ankle overnight – but god love him, he still wanted to go to Disneyland with the boys.
What a trooper, eh?
A rep for Elton said: ‘He hurt his ankle but didn’t want to let his sons down by postponing their trip to Disneyland. He is on the mend now.’
Hooray!
