MONIQUE’s BLOG & FACEBOOK PAGE

Monique Starr is no stranger to the Music City.  Born and raised in Nashville, her love of music and entertainment began early as a young child.  She started her career at Clark Atlanta University, where she dove head first into news production by reporting and producing several shows for the university’s television station.  After earning her communications degree in radio and television broadcasting, Monique moved back home to Nashville.  Initially interested in a career in television, her career path took a different direction upon her return.  Her take-charge attitude and magnetic personality, however, have led her to many wonderful opportunities.  She has graced the pages of several local magazines and newspapers, lent her voice as a voiceover talent, and also appeared in a variety of television retail advertisements.

Monique joined the 92Q Family in 2007 as an entertainment reporter for 92Q News.  She eventually crossed over to the on-air jock world, where you can currently find her, each and every Saturday from 11am – 3pm and Sunday nights (Monday morning) 12 – 4am.
