We’re starting to hear loud rumblings about next year’s Super Bowl halftime show performer.

The rumor going around is that Jay-Z will take the stage during the big game in San Francisco on February 8th, 2026. While we’re unable to confirm or deny at this point, it almost seemed inevitable that Hov would headline at some point, ever since he and Roc Nation partnered with the NFL back in 2019.

It’s also worth noting that posts claiming that Jay-Z will take the stage in 2026 have racked up millions of tweets, it’s picked up enough steam that even if it was false, you’d think it would be worth issuing an official denial. Or, maybe they’re floating the idea to test the waters and see what people think.

No matter who it is, it will be a hard act to follow after Kendrick Lamar raised the bar in New Orleans earlier this year.
