T.I. announces last album, ‘Kill the King’

Tip revealed that his final album is “coming soon” at the end of his “What It’s Come To” video.
T.I. is bowing out of the rap game. On Tuesday (June 8), the Atlanta rap legend shared the video for his newest single, “What It’s Come To.” At the end of the clip, Tip revealed that he’s gearing up to release his “final album,” which is called Kill the King. In a message, T.I. said that the follow-up to his 2020 effort The L.I.B.R.A. is “coming soon.”
This isn’t the first time that Tip has teased his retirement. Back in 2017, the “Whatever You Like” spitter appeared on “The Breakfast Club” and spoke about his plans to leave the music industry.
“I’m ready to get the hell outta [the rap game],” he said at the time. “I got this next album, I got three albums in my head I’ve already conceptualized. Once I get them out, I’m done.”
The following year, T.I. went on to release his tenth studio album, Dime Trap. Last year he gifted fans with The L.I.B.R.A., meaning Kill the King is right on track to be his third, and final, project since 2017.
The L.I.B.R.A. featured a variety of guests, including Lil Baby, Young Thug, 24 Dugg, Jeremih, Snoop Dogg, Rapsody, Mozzy, Conway the Machine, Rick Ross, Jadakiss, Killer Mike, 21 Savage, and more. Tip hasn’t announced a release date for Kill the King yet, but it appears that “What It’s Come To” will serve as the project’s lead single.
In other T.I. news, TMZ reports that the 40-year-old recently purchased his dream mansion in Atlanta. According to the outlet, the 14,000-square-foot home has seven bedrooms, 10 bathrooms and was sold to T.I. and his wife Tiny for $3.27 million. The mansion also has a pool, spa, outdoor fireplace, massage room, sauna, home theatre, gym, wine cellar, and a separate guest house.
