50 Cent Hints That He Is Developing A TV Series Based On Snoop Dogg Murder Case

Snoop was charged with first-degree murder in 1993 after the shooting of a rival gang member. He was acquitted in 1996.
50 Cent could add another show to his roster of television successes, which might be based on Snoop Dogg’s 1993 murder case.
Fif explored the idea on his Twitter account.
“I’m afraid this is going to be a problem for everything on Tv. A moment in time ( MURDER WAS THE CASE ) when the dream you have been wishing for feels like a nightmare,” wrote 50. “You think you know 🤦‍♂️you have no idea. @snoopdogg story is crazy 💣BOOM💨 🚦Green Light Gang 🎯I DON’T MISS.”
According to Los Angeles Times, Snoop was charged with first-degree murder in 1993 after the shooting of a rival gang member. The victim was reportedly shot by the rapper’s then bodyguard, McKinley Lee. In 1996, Lee and Snoop were acquitted of the murder.
50 Cent is also working on another project with Kenya Barris slated for Netflix based on the rapper’s “The 50th Law.” Deadline reports that the series is “a semi-autobiographical account detailing 50 Cent’s rise as both a young urban hustler and as an up-and-coming musician with lessons and anecdotes from historical figures such as Abraham Lincoln, Sun Tzu, Socrates, Napoleon, Malcolm X, and James Baldwin.”
Fif is currently still pumping out content under his Power franchise (Power Book II: Ghost and Power Book III: Raising Kanan) on Starz and released his BMF television series on Starz.
BMF follows the rise and fall of Detroit’s Flenory brothers, Terry “Southwest T” Flenory and Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory, who founded the Black Mafia Family in the 1990s.
