SZA’s Father Calls Out Doja Cat, For Not Letting SZA Speak, During Their VMAs Acceptance Speech – “That Was Some Unprofessional Pettiness” [VIDEO]

On Sunday night, the 2021 VMAs were held, at the Barclays Center, in Brooklyn. Doja Cat served as the host, where she won two awards. These were for her “Kiss Me More” video, featuring SZA. The awards were Best Collaboration and Best Art Direction.
Doja sported numerous odd outfits at the VMAs and is now getting heat from SZA’s dad. This is due to SZA being on stage as the two won Best Collaboration. There, Doja didn’t give SZA the microphone, to be able to speak on the win.
SZA’s dad took to his Instagram stories, to say that this move was “That was some unprofessional pettiness,” by Doja. Fans also expressed how they wanted to hear SZA speak, as she was a huge part of Kiss Me More.
Kiss Me More originally peaked at number three, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It is also certified gold, in the US. It also appeared on Doja’s third studio album, “Planet Her,” this summer. That debuted at number two. on the Billboard 200 chart.
