Diddy announces new album ‘Off The Grid Vol. 1’

The project would be his first since 2015’s ‘MMM.’
We’ve already seen top-quality projects from J. Cole, Rod Wave, Young Thug’s YSL collective, Moneybagg Yo, and others — the fact that the likes of Kanye West and Drake will soon be joining in makes 2021 one of the best years in music in recent times. Today (July 21), Diddy took to social media to announce that he’ll be entering the fray with a new body of work titled Off The Grid Vol. 1, which will be making landfall on September 26.
The project will be Diddy’s first since the critically acclaimed MMM (Money Makin Mitch), a 16-track mixtape that saw a slew of contributions from many of his close collaborators — Sevyn Streeter, Jadakiss, Styles P, Pusha T, Lil’ Kim, Future, French Montana, Wiz Khalifa, Big Sean, Travis Scott, and Ty Dolla $ign are but a sampling of the artists that were included. His last official solo LP — Press Play, his fourth — made landfall in 2016 and earned Diddy a number one on the Billboard 200.
Over the past few years alone, Diddy has continued to push all boundaries forward in regards to the betterment of our communities and the continued ascent of our black leaders and creatives. As reported by REVOLT, this past month saw the decorated entrepreneur team up with entertainment entity Endeavor to create “The Excellence Program,” an initiative that will also see executives from REVOLT and Combs Enterprises assist with providing upcoming frontrunners from marginalized areas with resources necessary for success in various industries. He further spoke on said partnership via statement:
“Partnering with Endeavor creates a pipeline to opportunities that allow future leaders to not only succeed but thrive in these highly competitive industries.”
