Terry Crews is getting dragged on social media for his recent comments towards ex-coworker Gabrielle Union being fired from Americas Got Talent for having hair that was deemed “too black”. At first Crews seemed sadden by the news of Union being fired tweeting “You’re the best Gabrielle! You will be missed!” but then his stance appeared to change when asked about it on a recent interview
“I haven’t reached out, but I haven’t heard anything…First of all, I can’t speak for sexism because I’m not a woman, but I can speak on behalf of any racism comments. That was never my experience on ‘America’s Got Talent.’ In fact, it was the most diverse place I have ever been in my 20 years of entertainment.”
Union responded with several tweets that can be found here. Since her response and backlash from fans Crews responded tweeting, “There is only one woman one earth I have to please. Her name is Rebecca. Not my mother, my sister, my daughters or co-workers. I will let their husbands/ boyfriends/ partners take care of them. Rebecca gives me WINGS”
Since then Crews has received nothing but criticism. CLICK HERE for more info
