10 YEAR OLD COMMITS SUICIDE AFTER BULLYING IS CAUGHT ON CAMERA

10 Year old Ashawnty Davis was a smart, vibrant girl with aspirations of becoming a WNBA player. However, Davis was in a fight at school that made it to a popular app called Musical.ly. Her mother believes her daughter was confronting her bully as students looked on. Davis was horrified that the video made it to the app and hung herself in her closet. She was on life support for two weeks before dying on November 29th. Bullycide, as it is called, is bullying that causes suicide and is more prevalent than most realize. Ashawnty’s parents are dedicated to raising awareness of Bullycide. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all affected by this growing epidemic.
