Save Money on the 4th of July

Nashville will celebrate Independence Day with a bang with great music and the largest fireworks show in the country. Music City will have a lot to offer in the way of free 4th of July commemoration in 2017. Following are some of the free Fourth of July events in Nashville, Tennessee.

Let Freedom Sing! Music City July 4th
July 4 @ Various Times
Ascend Amphitheater, Fifth and Broadway, Nashville, TN 37219

For the third consecutive year, Music City will host the largest fireworks show in the country at this free family-friendly event celebrating Independence Day. The concert will be headlined by Grammy-nominated country star Chris Young, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, R&B artist Jonny P and folk-rock duo The Sisterhood. The Nashville Symphony will accompany the 30-minute fireworks show.

A Family Fun Zone at the Music City Hall of Fame Park will be open from noon – 4 p.m. Young will wrap up the music portion the Broadway Stage at 9:15 pm, after which the attention will shift to the brilliant firework show.

11th Annual Music City Hot Chicken Festival
July 4 @ 11 a.m.
East Park, 700 Woodland St, East Nashville, 37206

The Fire Truck Parade begins at 10:30 a.m., followed by free Hot Chicken samples to the first 500 people in line. The gates to East Park open at 11 a.m. The festival will be free to attend. Local vendors will be selling Nashville’s best Hot Chicken and other treats. Live music will play throughout the event to keep the ‘Nashville’ vibe going. The event will end at 3 p.m., so people can head downtown for the fireworks.

This family-friendly celebration at TailGate will be free to attend and feature live music by The Dharmabillies starting at 6 p.m. Craft beer and pizza will be available for purchase.

The Acme Fourth of July
July 4 @ 11 a.m.
Acme Feed & Seed, 101 Broadway, Nashville, TN 37201

The Acme will host a day of music on three floors. Admission will be free until 3 p.m., after which admission will be $10.
