Ruben Studdard Talks Al Green Influenced New Single, ‘Can’t Nobody Love You’

Fresh off of his stirring performance on the finale of American Idol, Grammy nominated soul singer Ruben Studdard is bringing the heat with his sexy new single, Can’t Nobody Love You.

He talks to the Tom Joyner Morning Show about the Al Green influenced track, if he’s found love and more.

On his mother’s reaction to the title track:

“She’s not too big on the double negative, but I don’t think she understands. Sometimes you’ve got to sing like we talk. The song wouldn’t be good if it was called, there’s no one that could love me like for you.”

On his current relationship status:

“I’m waiting on God. You have to make sure you are ready when the right person shows up.”
