Sean Kingston and his mother, Janice Turner, are no longer challenging their federal fraud convictions.
A federal court approved the pair’s request to voluntarily dismiss their appeal, bringing the case to a close. Prosecutors accused the duo of obtaining more than one million in luxury goods through fraudulent wire transfer schemes between 2023 and 2024. The items included luxury watches, a bulletproof SUV and a massive television. Kingston was sentenced to 42 months in prison, while Turner received a five-year sentence. Both were convicted on multiple fraud-related charges in 2025.
