Kai Cenat, a popular digital creator known for his streaming success, is launching a clothing brand called Vivet, which signifies a shift towards a more permanent, creative venture rather than a temporary merchandising effort.
In a YouTube video titled “I Quit,” Cenat revealed his new direction, stating that he aims to express his true self beyond the persona he projects in his Twitch streams.
Cenat traveled to Italy for several weeks to learn about fashion, taking sewing classes and consulting with renowned stylist Law Roach, who advised him on embracing creative risk and overcoming fear.
The brand name “Vivet” is derived from Latin, meaning “he, she, or it will live forever,” reflecting Cenat’s mission to encourage individuality and challenge societal expectations of identity.
Cenat plans for Vivet to be authentic and transparent, sharing not only his successes but also his struggles and doubts throughout the creative process, a departure from the polished image typical of many celebrity brands.
Alongside the clothing line, Cenat intends to release a journal documenting his experiences and insights in building Vivet, aiming to inspire other creators by showing them his journey of learning and growth.
Recently, Cenat has taken a break from streaming to focus on his mental health, addressing feelings of self-doubt as he transitions into this new phase of his career; he emphasizes the importance of addressing mental health openly within the creator community.
