Sean “Diddy” Combs was sentenced to 50 months in jail for his conviction on two prostitution-related offenses.
On Friday, the judge delivered the sentence after a long day of legal positioning by the prosecution and defense that included arguments for longer and shorter prison stays.
Combs will receive credit for 12 months served, but Judge Subramanian also penalized Diddy with a $500,000 fine.
Combs was also given five years of supervised release once he leaves prison.
Combs’s lawyers are ready to appeal the sentence by arguing that the judge’s ruling doesn’t align with the jury’s verdict.
One of the shocking moments of Friday’s sentencing of Sean “Diddy” Combs was finding out the mogul had allegedly booked a speaking engagement in Miami for this week in the hopes that he would be set free.
Instead, Combs was sentenced to 50 months in jail.
50 Cent had some words about Diddy’s scheduling problem.
Fiddy posted on Instagram, “Hey…to whoever was booking Diddy for speaking engagement. I heard he won’t be able to make it. I’m available!”
