Natanael Cano opened his Natanael Cano Vol. 1 Tour on September 18 with the first of two sold-out concerts at Estadio GNP Seguros in Mexico City. The tour kickoff brought his corridos tumbados sound to a stadium setting, supported by a full live band featuring tuba, requinto, and guitar.
During the performance, Cano moved through songs from his latest album, Natanael Cano Vol. 1, including Aprevenido, La Cherokee, Mar Azul, Por Amarte Así, and Frente a Frente. The set mixed corridos, romantic material, and covers while keeping the focus on the acoustic-driven sound associated with his early career.
Several guests also joined Cano onstage. Tito Double P, Ovi, and Víctor Mendívil appeared for Olivia La Flaca, an upcoming collaboration scheduled for release on September 24. Gabito Ballesteros and Dan Sánchez were among the other artists who participated during the night.
The production included fireworks and pyrotechnics, while Cano kept the performance informal with jokes and an unexpected mid-show push-up break.
The tour is scheduled to continue across 12 additional Mexican cities, including Guadalajara and Monterrey, before concluding in Acapulco on December 5.
