Kim Mathers, the ex-wife of Eminem, has entered a no-contest plea in a Michigan case tied to an impaired driving crash earlier this year.
Court records show Mathers pleaded no contest to misdemeanor charges of operating while impaired and failing to stop after a collision. The case stems from a February 16 incident involving a white Range Rover and a parked Dodge Ram pickup.
Prosecutors said the crash pushed the parked vehicle roughly 50 feet. Mathers was accused of leaving the scene after the collision. A no-contest plea does not include a formal admission of guilt, but it allows the court to treat the case the same as a guilty plea for sentencing purposes.
Mathers is scheduled to be sentenced on June 17. The case remains active until that hearing is completed.
Mathers and Eminem were married twice and share a daughter, Hailie Jade. Their relationship has been part of the rapper’s public story for decades, though this case is separate from his career.
