Chris Brown is brushing off criticism surrounding his new album Brown.
Breezy addressed the mixed reaction in a series of Instagram Story posts, telling fans he knows exactly who the album is for — the hardcore, day one, ride-or-die Breezy stans.
Brown said, “We kickin’ they ass,” while also dismissing critics and telling non-fans to “go listen to Zara Larsson or somebody.” The comments appeared to reference a harsh Pitchfork review that called the album “a real piece of [crap].”
The 27-track project features appearances from YoungBoy Never Broke Again, GloRilla, Bryson Tiller, Vybz Kartel, Lucky Daye and Leon Thomas.
