Diddy is facing sharp pushback from prosecutors ahead of his April 9th appeal hearing.
In new court filings, federal attorneys repeatedly called his legal arguments “meritless,” rejecting his claim that his Mann Act convictions violate First Amendment protections. Diddy’s team previously characterized him as an “amateur pornographer” and argued the case involved consensual adult content.
Prosecutors countered that participants were not given advance notice or consent to be filmed and alleged coercion, abuse, and drug use were involved. Diddy is currently serving a 50-month sentence and is expected to be released in 2028 unless his appeal succeeds.
