Chris Brown sued Warner Bros. Discovery & Ample Entertainment over claims of sexual assault in the documentary “A History Of Violence.”
The judge dismissed the $500 million lawsuit in favor of the documentary makers, stating it was a “fair and true report” of the judicial record.
Brown’s primary contention was related to a case where he allegedly raped a woman on a yacht, claiming the survivor had a violent history and concealed key text messages.
The judge refuted Brown’s defamation claim regarding an article by writer Scaachi Koul, citing Brown’s admission to punching Rihanna.
