Drew Dixon, who alleged that LA Reid sexually assaulter her several times back in 2001 has settled her sexual assault lawsuit againstReid on the day their trial was scheduled to begin.
Monday, Reid’s attorney said, “Mr. Reid has amicably resolved this matter with Ms. Dixon without any admission of liability.”
Dixon’s lawyer confirmed the settlement, saying, “We are happy to report that a settlement has been reached, the terms of which are confidential.”
The suit was filed in 2023 where she alleged he tried to derail her career and thwart her attempts to sign artists while she worked with Reid. Following the settlement, Dixon expressed gratitude for her family’s support and stated her intention to focus on music and future projects with creativity and integrity.
Dixon filed suit against Reid in 2023 for allegedly sexually assaulting her several times back in 2001. She alleged he tried to derail her career and thwart her attempts to sign artists while she worked with Reid at Arista Records.
Reid is known for his executive and production ventures, as he helped solidify artists like OutKast, TLC, Usher, Toni Braxton, Avril Lavigne, Pink, Ciara, and Mariah Carey.
