Alexander O’Neal and his wife were hospitalized after an apartment fire in Burnsville, Minnesota.
The fire broke out in a third-floor unit at Willoway Apartments, causing unknown injuries to the couple.
O’Neal’s wife Cynthia said that Alexander had just been released from the hospital. The singer was in ICU on life support for bacterial pneumonia and an enlarged heart.
O’Neal is known for hits such as “If You Were Here Tonight,” “Fake,” and collaborations with Cherrelle including “Saturday Love,” and “Never Knew Love Like This.”
