Jada Pinkett Smith is being sued for $3 million by Bilaal Salaam, a man who says he was a longtime friend and associate of Will Smith.
According to the complaint filed November 7th, Salaam alleges that at a 2021 birthday party for Smith, Pinkett Smith — accompanied by several entourage members — warned him he would “end up missing or catch a bullet” if he continued sharing her personal business, and demanded he sign a nondisclosure agreement.
Salaam further claims that an associate followed him to his car and kept issuing threats, and that after he refused to help with PR crisis-management following a public incident in 2022, Pinkett Smith allegedly launched a smear campaign to discredit him.
The lawsuit accuses her of intentional infliction of emotional distress and defamation, citing reputational, financial and emotional harm.
