D’Angelo has reportedly been laid to rest following his death at age 51 from pancreatic cancer.
The funeral program indicated that the memorial service for D’Angelo was held on Saturday, November 1st.
Stevie Wonder, harpist Brandee Younger, and D’Angelo’s former backing band The Soultronics performed musical selections at the service.
The family thanked Questlove for helping organize the service and writing a tribute to D’Angelo for Rolling Stone.
D’Angelo’s family confirmed his passing on October 14th due to cancer.
His three children spoke at his Celebration of Life.
