Dru Hill calls out 112, Jagged Edge and Boyz II Men for a Verzuz battle (VIDEO)

“I’ll tell you what, how bout maybe 112 and Jagged Edge combine into one group, then they might have a chance with us,” Sisqó said.
Dru Hill is ready to hit the Verzuz stage — and they don’t care who their opponent is.
On Sunday (Sept. 19), the group took to Twitter to challenge several R&B groups to compete against them in the popular Instagram Live series. “Yo, we’re Dru Hill,” the “We’re Not Making Love No More” singers said collectively. Sisqó and Nokio added, “And pretty much, we’ll do a Verzuz against anybody. Anybody. Whoever want it, can get it — whether it’s Jodeci, Boyz II Men. I’ll tell you what, how bout maybe 112 and Jagged Edge combine into one group, then they might have a chance with us.”
“So, anybody can get it,” the “Thong Song” singer said. “Any callers? Y’all know our number. We love all y’all. We love 112, Jagged Edge, Boyz II Men.” However, Sisqó did note that Boyz II Men would be a “problem” and they would have to “dig down deep” to battle against them.
Last year, 112 went head-to-head against Jagged Edge in a Verzuz battle. Usually, artists don’t compete in the musical competition more than once — except for a rematch that Swizz Beatz and Timbaland had, which was held in Miami on Memorial Day weekend, and Jadakiss performing twice as a solo act and part of his group The LOX.
Nonetheless, fans expressed their excitement over the possibility that Dru Hill could be featured in an upcoming Verzuz. Twitter user @LisaJ1821 tweeted, “Yea!! A Dru Hill v…???? We’ll stay tuned to see who think they up for the challenge. Y’all will kill em.”
“@DruHill4Real vs Jagged Edge would be dope,” tweeted @IanDchase. “Dru would wash them lol. Vocals all day lol.”
Social media user @queenjordan wrote, “Please tell your favorite group to get @ MY favorite group so we can take the win.”
