Kodak Black wants Nas or Drake to take him under their wing

Kodak has been wanting to work with these guys for a while.
Kodak Black has accomplished a lot in his career, but he still thinks he could use some guidance, and he’d love to get some from two rap legends.
Responding to a fan who tweeted a collaboration suggestion to him, Kodak mentioned Nas and Drake as two rappers he’d like to connect with. “Can’t-Wait To Nas Put Me Under His Wing Him Or Drake, I’m Fucked Up Bout Dem Two Niggas,” Kodak wrote in the tweet, one in which a fan says he’d make a dope collaboration with Nas and Brent Faiyaz.
Now, Kodak has gotten some kind words from the 6ix God before. Around the time Kodak dropped his Dying to Live album nearly three years ago, he posted a screenshot of Drake’s Instagram direct message praising him for the LP.
“Bro your album really one of my favorites in the last five years,” the Dark Lane Demo Tapes rapper said in the message. “The bars you are rapping about friends and your purpose is so pure.”
While still behind bars in January 2020, Kodak told Drake via Instagram comment that he wanted to do a joint album. “I Am Your Biggest Fan Sir,” Kodak wrote in the comments section under one of Drake’s posts. “I Love Your Music, Sir.”
He added: “If We Can’t Do A Whole Album Together, I Never Want To Do A Song With You Sir.”
While Drake and Kodak have at least connected once, it’s unclear whether Nas has ever contacted the Florida rapper. Maybe he will now. In the past, Kodak has also said that he wanted to do a song with the Queens rapper.
Gifted with a knack for melody and the ability to write vivid lyrics about his own experiences, Kodak is one of the most potent songwriters of his generation. He’s got his talent and he’s got platinum plaques, but apparently, he knows there’s a lot to be gained from connecting with Esco and the 6ix God.
