‘I Don’t Have No Accident’: Nick Cannon Finally Breaks His Silence About Having Multiple Children with Multiple Women

Nick Cannon is finally breaking his silence on why he keeps siring children, some of them back to back with different women.
Miami rappers the City Girls appeared on Nick Cannon’s show “Nick Cannon Radio” on July 7, where he asked them to take part in his segment called “Advice for Nick.” He asked JT first for advice, and she took a pause and smiled before saying, “I mean, just stay true to yourself and wrap it up.”
To clarify, Cannon asked, “Wrap it up like hurry up and wrap it up, or wrap it up and protect myself?” JT confirmed that she meant for the Wild N’ Out host to “protect” himself, which is when he responded, “I’m having these kids on purpose, I don’t have no accident.” Before allowing Yung Miami to answer the question, the father of seven added, “Trust me, there’s a lot of people I could have got pregnant that I didn’t. The ones that got pregnant are the ones that were supposed to get pregnant.”
Many people have been waiting for Cannon to explain why he’s had seven children, four of which he’s had this year by three different women. Now that they have their answer he’s receiving even more criticism.
One person said, “Creating single mom homes on purpose… how sad,” referring to the fact that the 40-year-old does not seem to be in a relationship with any of the many women he’s had children with. He had twins with Mariah Carey when they were married, and after they were divorced he went on to have two more children with Brittany Bell, including a daughter born this January. A little over three weeks ago, he welcomed twins with international DJ Abby De La Rosa, and nine days later model Alyssa M. Scott gave birth to his son.
What many disapproving fans are worried about is Cannon having the ability to be present as a father. Supporting them financially won’t be an issue for him, but many say it takes more than money to be a good dad. “Nick is so corny! Idc how much of a legend he is or how much money he got. What kid wants a part-time dad,” wrote one fan.
Another fan told others to not be so quick to judge since they are not fully aware of Cannon’s relationship with his children. “For all we know, he does a great job being present in all his kids’ lives,” the fan wrote.
