92Q NASHVILLE’S “MIKE EPPS IN REAL LIFE TOUR” CONTEST
OFFICIAL RULES
A complete copy of these rules can be obtained by contacting radio station WQQK (“Station”) owned and
operated by Cumulus Broadcasting LLC, located at 10 Music Circle East, Nashville, TN 37203, during normal
business hours Monday through Friday or by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to the above address.
The Station will conduct the 92Q Nashville’s “Mike Epps April 26th In Real Life Tour” Contest (the
“Contest”) substantially as described in these rules, and by participating, each participant agrees as follows:
1. NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF
WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. ALL FEDERAL, STATE, AND LOCAL REGULATIONS APPLY.
Eligibility. This Contest is open only to legal U.S. residents, excluding dual Florida and New York
residents, age eighteen (18) years or older at the time of entry with a valid Social Security number and
who reside in the Station’s Designated Market Area (“DMA”) as defined by Nielsen Audio. Void where
prohibited by law. Employees of Cumulus Broadcasting LLC, its parent company, affiliates, related
entities and subsidiaries, promotional sponsors, prize providers, advertising agencies, other radio stations
serving the Station’s DMA, and the immediate family members and household members of all such
employees are not eligible to participate. The term “immediate family members” includes spouses, parents
and step-parents, siblings and step-siblings, and children and stepchildren. The term “household
members” refers to people who share the same residence at least three (3) months out of the year. The
Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Participation constitutes
entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Station’s decisions, which are final
and binding in all matters related to the Contest. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all
requirements set forth herein.
2. Contest Period. The Contest will begin at 12:01am CT on March 3rd, 2021 and will run through
5:59pm CT on April 16, 2021 (the “Contest Period”). The Station’s computer is the official time keeping
device for this Contest.
3. How to Enter. Listeners can enter the one (1) of three (3) ways:
(i) On-Air: Listen to Station weekdays from 7:00am CT to 11:59am CT on March 3, 2021 through
April 16,2021when the station plays the “cue-to-win” sounder, listeners should call the Station at
615-737-9292. Caller nine (9) to the Station, as determined by the Station in its sole discretion,
will win a Prize (as defined below). Time Delay Between Over-the-Air Analog Signal and
Internet Broadcast: Due to the time delay that exists between the Station’s analog over-the-air
signal and the Station’s online webcast, listeners who listen to the Station online may hear the cue
to call later than listeners listening to the Station’s analog over-the-air signal. As a result, the odds
of an online listener entering this Contest on-air may be diminished.
(ii) Text: Send a text message with the keyword EPPS to 68683 from 12:00am CT on March 19,
2021 through 5:59pm CT on March 21, 2021 or 12:00am CT on April 9, 2021 through 5:59pm

assumes no responsibility for any fees or charges incurred for and associated with any text
message sent to or from Station. Any and all fees arising out of the transmission of a text
message shall be the sole responsibility of the entrant. Limit one (1) entry per person per
phone number in the Contest. Multiple participants are not permitted to share the same telephone

Commented [AH1]: This is too long of a listening window.
Listening windows can only be a max of four to five hours,
otherwise it constitutes consideration which makes this an
unlawful lottery.
Commented [AC2R1]: oops ok changed
Commented [AH3]: You have to provide the caller
number. Rules are contracts with our listeners – it has to be
clear how to enter.
Commented [AH4]: This isn’t a drawing.
Commented [AW5]: Why don’t the dates of the text
contest match the on air dates?
Commented [AC6R5]: The Text is for the Winning
Weekend. Thats the only time we are doing the text
Commented [AH7]: Are you carrying over the first set of
text entries to the last text drawing?
Commented [AC8R7]: yes, they can only enter once
Commented [AH9]: They can only enter once via texting.
Otherwise texting increases their chances of winning which
is not permitted because it’s not a “free” method of entry
per the FCC.

entry per person per Instagram account. Multiple participants are not permitted to share the same

and will not be returned. Sponsor reserves the right to contact entrants and all other individuals
whose email address is submitted as part of this promotion. No mail-in entries will be accepted.

or liability for the Contest’s administration, prizes or promotion. You are providing entry
information to the Station and not to Instagram.

way in bad taste or contain material(s) which may infringe upon any person or entities proprietary
rights, as determined in the sole discretion of the Station, will be disqualified.
Listeners may either (i) enter by being caller nine (9), (ii) text in an entry using a mobile device or

win a Prize. . Text. On or about 5:59pm CT on March 21, 2021 and April 11, 2021,Station will select six
(6) entries for a Prize in a random drawing from among all valid text entries received by Station during
the Text Entry Period as of the date and time of that drawing. Social Instagram. On or about 11:59pm
CT on March 21, 2021 and April 11, 2021, Station will select two (2) entries for a Prize in a random
drawing from among all valid Instagram entries received by Station during the Contest Period .
The winning entrants will be contacted using the email address, telephone number, or Instagram account
(if applicable) provided with or used to submit the entry and may be awarded the prize (subject to
verification of eligibility and compliance with the terms of these rules). Station’s decisions as to the
administration and operation of the Contest and the selection of the potential winner are final and binding
in all matters related to the Contest. Failure to respond to the initial verification contact within three (3)

winner cannot be contacted, fails to sign and return the affidavit of eligibility and/or the liability/publicity
Commented [AH11]: Is this drawing date correct or
should it be March 21?
Commented [AC12]: i changed to 5:59 for entry on text
Commented [AH13]: Is there one drawing or two
drawings? If one drawing then this isn’t necessary because
the entry period has closed.
Commented [AH14]: It’s not during the contest period –
it’s two drawing dates.
Commented [AH15]: You’re drawing winners at
11:59pm? The entry deadline is 11:59pm so the drawing has
to occur after the entry deadline. So, update entry deadline
or the drawing time. If the drawing date is after 11:59pm,
that makes it past midnight, and thus, the dates of the
drawings would need to be changed. Also, it doesn’t say
anywhere above about there being two Instagram entry
periods.
Commented [AC16R15]: changed time 5:59
Commented [AH17]: See comment above in section 3 re:
pooling entries.
