People can’t seem to keep their hands off of Patti LaBelle’s Sweet Potato Pies.
According to Fox Business, the $4 pastry which is available exclusively at Walmart, sold out within minutes this Thanksgiving season. In fact, Walmart reveals it sells a whopping 36,000 pies every day—which translates to 1,500 pies every hour and 25 per minute!
After going viral nearly five years ago, thanks to a mouthwatering review posted to YouTube, the legendary singer’s famous pies continue to fly off the shelves.

Honestly, who can blame people for wanting to dazzle their taste buds with a recipe curated by the 76-year-old star? We honestly cannot find the reason—especially since Patti has a cooking empire including several cookbooks and rave reviews for her recipes.
