Motivation Moment

Motivational Moment

Who is the first person you think about in the morning?  Shouldn’t it be someone who loves you more than you can love yourself?  Shouldn’t it be someone who is always looking for ways to teach, train and transform you into who you are destined to be?  Absolutely!! There is no one in the world or a billion galaxies worth thinking of more than the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Bible says in Matthew 6:33, “Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.  These past couple of weeks have been full of media coverage of suicides, murders and deaths of prominent and loved leaders by cancer.  Now, shouldn’t we be spending more time seeking the One who is the greatest guide and advisor of how to avoid and conquer the many challenges in all of our lives?

Our motivation every moment can transform our lives as well as the lives of others IF that motivation is to be more like Christ.  Why?  Who do you know who has died for you and conquered sin and death and came back to tell you about it? Who continues to love you through all of your mess and the things done to you to help you through it all?  As much as I love my family, friends and co-workers, none of them have ever done all those things for me.  Nor have I for them.

So, who should be the first one you think of and talk to in the morning?  The only one who knew you before the foundation of the world and loves you enough to transform your life the way you were destined to be…Jesus.

Set your clock for 6:33 every morning and awaken with Hello My sweet Savior, and thank Him for all He has done…seek Him first and all the other things will come.  The greatest thing about seeking him first is your relationship with Him.  The wealth of getting to know Him is BEYOND the things you could ever dream of asking from Him.  That’s your Motivational Moment: Your M & M “sweet taste of the Gospel truth”.
