Issa New Show

Insecure star Issa Rae has proven to be far more than an actress and Covergirl beauty as she is producing her own original shows that has fans already excited. The first one, Him and Her, will include Daily Show writer Travon Free and will be based on a topic that was briefly featured on an episode of Insecure. It explores the conversation of how dating life is for a bisexual African American man who finds himself in peculiar situations providing a comedic relief. Along with this show is Sweet Life, a drama series about the struggles of teens as they grow up in a neighborhood known as “Black Beverly Hills”. This project is set to bring up some tears and joy as it brings along Scandal producer Raamla Mohamed as co-creator. Both projects have been picked up by HBO and are still under production as is the third season of Insecure.
