Names in Cement

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has announced the honorees for 2017’s Walk of Fame class and it is quite a doozy. Ice Cube, who is coming off a very successful run which saw the N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Comptonbecome the highest grossing music biopic of all-time, will receive a star on the Walk of Fame. This along with his slew of hit box office films since the early 90s that have made him one of Hollywood’s most bankable stars. Along with him will be singer/songwriter John Legend, as well as the legendary New Edition, who also have biopic set to be released in 2017.

They are not the only ones who will be honored as Ryan Reynolds, Brett Ratner, Tyra Banks, Keri Russell, Sarah Silverman, Elvis Duran, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Jason Bateman, Mark Ruffalo and several others will be receiving stars as well. Currently there is no definitive date in 2017 for the ceremonies.
