K. Michelle & Azealia Banks: Two of the nation’s hottest R&B/Hip-Hop artists K. Michelle and Azealia Banks make their Schermerhorn debut October 5 as part of a 20-city tour, presented by CENTRIC and BET. Both artists will be performing tracks from their current albums – K. Michelle’s Anybody Wanna Buy A Heart? and Azealia Banks’ Broke With Expensive Taste – as well as fan favorites from previous releases. K. Michelle’s debut album, 2013’s Rebellious Soul, flipped the script for R&B and enjoyed staggering success debuting at #1 on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums. Azealia Banks first entered the scene with her hit debut single “212” in 2012, and since has gone on to release her critically acclaimed debut album Broke With Expensive Taste in 2014 which was hailed as one of the best albums of the year by The New York Times, Pitchfork, TIME Magazine and Rolling Stone.
