FORMER CHATT BUS DRIVER INDICTED ON STATUTORY RAPE CHARGES

Former Chattanooga school bus driver, Johnthony Walker, has been indicted  on 8 counts of statutory rape and one count of sexual exploitation of a minor by a Davidson County grand jury. Walker admitted to having sex with a 14-year-old girl who lived at a home where he had been staying while out on bond following his sentencing for the deadly Chattanooga bus crash. In March 2018, Walker was convicted of six counts of criminally negligent homicide in a Chattanooga school bus crash. He was sentenced to four years in prison in April for the November 2016 crash but was reportedly out on bond while his appeal is pending.
