The case of 17 year old Dantis Lakka-Lako, who is accused of raping and burglarizing a pregnant woman inside her Antioch home has been moved to adult status. He is currently being held in Metro Jail on charges of aggravated rape and aggravated burglary. He was only 16 years old when he brutally assaulted a 30-year-old pregnant woman inside of her residence at the Overlook Apartment Complex in Antioch.


It’s been 595 days since Metro Council approved funding for police body cameras, but yet Metro Police officers are still patrolling the streets without them. Police have been waiting more than 20 months for the promised cameras. Other cities have gone through the process in half the time, but some have taken this time, if not longer to get the cameras. They have to start the process, pick a vendor, secure funding


A controversial homework assignment was given to students at Sunset Middle School in Williamson county last month, where teachers told students to imagine they owned slaves, and to create a list of expectations for the slaves.

The Williamson County Superintendent, Dr. Mike Looney, called it a “gross error” by the teachers and “insensitive.”
Yesterday, the Superintendent confirmed that two teachers tied to the assignment have resigned but he would not confirm why they resigned.  Umm…duh!

Bellevue ‘spa’ raided; three women arrested for prostitution

26 year old Alivia King, the owner of the Bellevue Comfort Zone Spa and Salon, 32 year old Cindy Estrada-Murillo and Tamarra Nelson were arrested in a raid, in which police say the business was a front for prostitution. They were arrested for promoting prostitution and impersonation of a licensed professional. None of the women are licensed in the state to be a masseuse and the business was a front for prostitution. Investigators found that employees of Bellevue Comfort Zone offered sex acts to clients. The typical fee charged was $160 per session.

Suspect Wanted In South Nashville Bank Robbery

Police are trying to identify the man that robbed the bank inside a Walmart in South Nashville on Wednesday afternoon. The suspect approached the counter at FSNB Bank in the Walmart on Nolensville Pike and passed a note.He fled in a blue Ford Expedition The suspect  is approximately 6-foot-1-inches tall and 200 pounds.
